We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees.

This position is onsite daily Monday Friday at our San-Antonio Interpark Office Location.

- All positions will require working remotely and in-office at the assigned work location.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will perform various administrative and technical tasks to support the effective and efficient operations of RAICES Finance Department.
Analyze situations and exercise sound judgment in determining appropriate courses of action with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Responsibilities :
- Post daily cash receipts, including checks, credit card payments and electronic fund transfers
- Prepare and send customer invoices and statements
- Monitor client accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due accounts
- Maintain accurate records of client payments and adjustments
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Communicate regularly with post release bond clients regarding compliance with bond requirements; update account status records in eImmigration
- Work with Legal Department and Accounts Payable in completing and processing documentation for approved bond assistance payments
- Assist with monthly account reconciliations and statement verifications.
- Supports monthly closing process.
- Support Accounts Payable and Purchasing as needed.
- This position will assist with providing supporting documentation related to responses to union information requests, planning for contract negotiations, and with compliance and implementation of labor contract provisions.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
