About this role :

As a leasing agent, you will be the face of Meritus, responsible for attracting and retaining tenants for a Lease-Up property. You will play a vital role in ensuring this property reaches stabilization and tenants are happy with their experience with Meritus.

What you'll do- includes but is not limited to :

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
• Respond to inquiries from potential tenants and provide information about the property
• Process rental applications, including conducting background and credit checks
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
• Collect rent payments and maintain tenant records in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants
• Address tenant concerns and maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Assist with property maintenance, including scheduling repairs and coordinating with vendors
• Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls and provide excellent customer service
• Upsell additional services or amenities to current and prospective tenants
• Maintain positive relationships with tenants to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction
