• The Blytheville Facility handles maintenance and reconditioning of beam, bloom and billet and thin slab casters. TRUCK DRIVER 3rd Shift

4) Whether you were subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations while working for the employer

5) Whether you were subject to DOT regulated drug and alcohol testing while working for the employer

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Class A Commercial Driver License

Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience

JOB DUTIES

Operates flat-bed truck to transport large industrial equipment to and from designated locations. Distance primarily within 10 miles of our location in Blytheville, AR.

Some OTR is possible but seldom.

Driver is responsible for rigging; loading and unloading truck.

Driver is required to perform daily inspections as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Maintains logbook and other documents to comply with DOT regulations.

When not operating truck, the driver is required to perform mechanical assembly functions in support of the department.

Information provided by you will be used, and your previous employers will be contacted, for the purpose of investigating your safety performance history.

You have the following rights regarding the investigative information

• The right to review information provided by previous employers;
• The right to have errors in the information corrected by the previous employer and for that previous employer to re-send the corrected information to Primetals;

The right to have a rebuttal statement attached to the alleged erroneous information, if the previous employer and the driver cannot agree on the accuracy of the information.
