Role
The client is looking to hire an Assistant Controller. In this role you'll be reporting to the Director of Accounting & Finance.
There is great potential for growth as the company expands.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead accountants and financial team members with their tasks
- Perform reconciliations for various project accounts
- Analyze and report on the profitability of ongoing projects
- Attend meetings and provide administrative support as needed
Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in the construction or manufacturing sectors, with proficiency in general ledger and job costing
- Familiarity with subcontractor management is highly advantageous
- Successful completion of the company's screening procedures
- Prior experience in a managerial role is preferred
