Telecommunications Program Manager
This Opportunity
kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP USA company , is currently initiating a search for a Telecommunications Program Manager for our Hyperscale Accounts based in any of our kW offices (Troy NY, New York NY, Milwaukee WI, Tempe AZ, Atlanta GA, or Herndon VA).
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Program Manager to oversee our hyperscale accounts. This role involves leading and managing weekly meetings, creating, and maintaining comprehensive project, financial, and labor utilization reports, and ensuring the smooth coordination and execution of project deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Fiber, Networking, Construction, ICT, Data Centers, and Technical Writing, with strong capabilities in reporting and research.
Your Impact
- Lead and manage weekly meetings with hyperscale clients, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination of project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project tracking, financial reports, and labor utilization reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for various organizational units within hyperscale clients.
- Coordinate and oversee quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Assemble and develop client-specific documents, specifications, and detailed design research and planning.
- Utilize technical writing skills to create clear and concise reports and documentation.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure alignment with client needs and project requirements.
- Foster strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate is highly experienced in various aspects of Network, Construction and DataCenter Design and has experience in information and communications technology.
Strong communication skills, and an interest in liaising with internal and external design, client and construction team members are also necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a role involving Fiber, Networking, Construction, ICT, Data Centers, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Project Management, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Visio, AutoCAD and Revit is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience managing projects in a hyperscale or data center environment.
- RCDD, PMP, or DCDC certifications.
- International project experience.
