ProfessionalOversight :
- Conductpsychological assessments to inform educationaldecisions.
- Travel tovarious school sites as required with travel expensesreimbursed.
- Maintain accuraterecords of assessments interventions andconsultations.
- Provide crisisintervention services assessing risk and coordinatingresponses.
- Communicate assessmentresults and recommendations clearly tostakeholders.
- Adhere to ethicalstandards set by professional associations and licensingboards.
- Participate inmultidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educationalplanning.
- Collaborate with schoolstaff and parents to implement effective interventions and supportstrategies.
- Provide comprehensivepsychological services to students in need fluently in both EnglishandSpanish.
Requirements
AGraduate Degree in School Psychology or a related field either atthe Masters or Doctoral level is required. Additionally candidatesmust hold Illinois State licensure or certification as a SchoolPsychologist.
Experience in educational settings with culturallyand linguistically diverse populations is preferred. A commitmentto ongoing professional development and continuous improvement inservice delivery is essential.
Bilingual proficiency in bothEnglish and Spanish is required with the ability to conductassessments and provide counseling services in both languages.
