Manage and schedule shop technician workload in coordination with Service Management Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to shop technicians Diagnose and repair heavy equipment systems (motors, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, exhaust / aftertreatment) Oversee preventative maintenance and repair schedules for customer equipment and our 150-piece rental fleet Promote and maintain a safe, positive work environment Minimum 4+ years as a Shop Foreman or equivalent supervisory experience Minimum 10 years in mechanical, service technician, or diesel technology roles (5 years in heavy equipment repair required) Experience with Link-Belt, Hitachi, Sandvik, and / or Anaconda equipment preferred Hands-on experience rebuilding diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic pumps Proven supervisory / leadership skills including scheduling and technician support Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to read / interpret hydraulic & electrical schematics Proficiency with laptop diagnostic tools and computer programs Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Effective communicator across all levels (leadership, team, customers) Ability to lift 50+ lbs; valid driver's license with clean record Road or field technician experience a plus; some travel may be required

Heavy Equipment Shop Foreman / Lead Technician

This is your opportunity to join the area's premier heavy construction equipment dealership as a Heavy Equipment Shop Foreman / Lead Technician .
In this role, you'll work closely with our Service Manager and Service Technicians to deliver superior customer service while maintaining a collaborative, safety-focused shop culture.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy construction equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, drills, portable aggregate / crushing plants, hydraulic breakers, and road wideners.
This is a Union Position with the Local 158 Union.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay : Starting at $40 / hour (Depending on experience)
- Hours : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM (overtime as needed)
- Relocation Assistance : Available for qualified candidates
