Job description

Hospitality Manager

The Hospitality Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and organizational skills to manage staff, maintain quality, and meet financial goals.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Supervising and training staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
  • Managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and address any issues promptly.
  • Monitoring financial performance, preparing budgets, and managing cash flow to ensure profitability.
  • Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Representing the restaurant in community events and promotional activities.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in a similar management role within the hospitality or food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu development and cost control.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
