Ortho and Neuro skills required
Description :
Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, Thursday from 8 : 15 AM to 3 : 45 PM, and Friday from 9 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
Guaranteed hours per week : 40 hours.
No call requirement.
No weekend requirement.
No float requirement.
Highly preferred to have experience with pelvic floor therapy patients, but it is not required.
Acute care experience is preferred.
Experience with charting system required.
Experience with outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility preferred.
Skills needed include body mechanics, treatment of cervicalgia, low back pain, post-operative care for cervical and shoulder surgeries, spinal conditions, total hip and knee replacements, rehabilitation for cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, home exercise programs, and patient family education.
Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census is 13 patients with an average of 10 visits per day.
Interdisciplinary support available includes physical therapy and rapid response teams.
Patient diagnoses encompass all orthopedic conditions, neuro diagnoses, infants with torticollis, and pediatric orthopedic conditions.
Specialty care includes pelvic floor diagnoses.
Special equipment includes an AlterG treadmill.
