Wound Care Nurse-Nursing Home
Located in near Lazy Lake, FL
A beautiful skilled nursing facility located near Lazy Lake, FL is looking for a strong Wound Care Nurse.
Responsibilities :
Identify, manage, and treat specific skin conditions, such as pressure injuries; diabetic, venous, or arterial ulcers;
and traumatic or complicated wounds
- Provide wound care on assigned residents, in accordance with physician orders and appropriate techniques
- Complete a thorough and accurate wound assessment upon notification of wound
- Complete follow-up assessments weekly and as needed; document all assessments in the medical record
Qualifications :
- Must have current Florida RN License
- Must be wound care certified
- Must have experience as a Wound Care Nurse in long term care
- Must have experience in long term care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
