Summary of Position
Kinsley is currently seeking a Shop Foreman to oversee welders and fabricators based out of our Blandon, PA office. In addition, the Shop Foreman will be tasked with overseeing and maintaining both our shop and industrial field tooling / equipment. Due to our growing crews, we are in search of a Shop Foreman to help keep our shop organized, maintained, productive and safe. An ideal candidate should possess a solid background in the field, with strong leadership skills and can directly work of others and make a quick decision. This position is a "Working Foreman" role and on smaller jobs, the Foreman will be responsible to work alongside of crews to assist in completing the project.
Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required. 5 years of shop experience as a foreman or superintendent required. Previous experience directing workforce is required. Thorough understanding of MIG / TIG / Stick welding processes. Thorough understanding of metal processing and forming procedures in a shop environment. Must be able to work at heights utilizing ladders, man lifts, etc. is preferred. Ability to operate man lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, overhead cranes, etc. Comprehension of construction and / or fabrication drawings is required. Must be familiar with or willing to learn OSHA and MSHA safety regulations. Ability to multitask and have strong communications skills. Strong math skills and computer skills are required. Current driver's license is required. Strong mechanical ability.
