Lead Accountant

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant to join their accounting and finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Execute monthly and quarterly accounting close tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Perform financial trend analyses and assist in preparing supporting schedules for financial statements, taxes, and audits

Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate with other departments on accounting matters

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in audit or relevant industry experience

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Proven track record of driving process improvements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across the organization
