Senior Payroll Specialist Responsibilities :
- Lead weekly payroll processing with precision and accuracy.
- Verify classifications, calculate wages, and ensure Prevailing Wage compliance.
- Prepare and submit Certified Payroll Reports
- Harness advanced Excel tools for reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Maintain organized payroll records and support audits with detailed reporting.
- Manage payroll components including 401(k), vacation pay, and fringe benefits.
- Align wages, benefits, and classifications with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with HR on onboarding / offboarding payroll tasks.
- Contribute to diversity tracking and Apprenticeship Program compliance.
- Provide administrative support to Payroll and HR leadership.
Senior Payroll Specialist Education and Skills :
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or a related field3+ years in full cycle payrollCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) Designation is highly preferredAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, or WorkdayExperience handling multi-state payroll is a plus
