Material Handlers Coordinator - 3rd Shift

Summary :

The Material Handlers Coordinator for the 3rd shift is responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of materials between the warehouse, supermarket, and production lines during night operations. This role ensures that materials are available as needed, inventory is accurately maintained, and the work area adheres to lean manufacturing and 5S principles. The coordinator will also train and mentor other material handlers, showcasing strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Kanban & Supermarket Management

• Coordinate the receipt of materials from the warehouse and ensure their transfer to the Supermarket (SM) area during the 3rd shift.
• Supervise the movement of materials from the Supermarket to the line-side rack based on production requirements.
• Monitor and address missing materials, collaborating with the warehouse team for timely replenishment.
