As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail location in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with the resolution of issues as they arise. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any unusual conditions. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities. Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the retail location. Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Experience in customer service is preferred, as it will help in providing high-quality security-related services. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
