We are looking for a Fiber Engineer to start working with a client of ours in the Alpharetta, GA area as soon as possible.
This candidate will be responsible for doing design work in FOND or KMZ. In addition, this candidate will be doing primarily FTTH (fiber to the home).
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Requirements
- Engineering using Fond, or KMZ desktop design
- Neighborhood only, no middle mile
- Includes Equipment specifications, possible vendors and part numbers, cabinets, etc.
- Determine standard for Segment, Fiber counts, splitter locations, etc.
- Support the use of aerial for neighborhoods that may have this option
- Document (KMZ) Final KMZ and standard information for submittal to A&E and Construction vendors
- Inventory (Fiber, Hand Holes, splicing points, and other key information will be on KMZ
- 25 % Travel
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States
Pay Rate : $30 / hr - $40 / hr
Term : 6 month+ contract
