Sales Manager
Robbins Recruiting has partnered with a leader in the residential roofing industry looking. They are looking for a motivated Sales Manager at one of their branches near Detroit, MI.
Who you are :
Motivated sales leader with a drive to win. You have a passion for developing yourself and the members of your team. You are experienced with and an advocate for the latest sales-enablement technologies. You know what its like to stand in front of a customer in their home and guide them through a major purchase decision. You understand a Profit and Loss (P+L) statement and how to most impactfully move the needle in the right direction. You are consistently available to your team when they need you. You love doing ride-a-longs to be where the rubber meets the road. Roofing sales experience a plus, but not required.
Sales Leadership and Strategy
- Set and maintain the standard within the sales team
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of and the long-term development of the sales reps
- Lead standing sales team meetings and conduct effective 1 : 1 meetings with members of the team
- Continually evolve and improve the sales process to meet the demands of the market
- Partner with other functions (e.g., marketing) to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of the strategy
Training and Devlopment
Incorporate trainings into the standing team meetingsDevelop training guides and resources to facilitate continual improvement of the sales teamConduct effective new hire trainingEstablish and ensure adherence to performance management standards and process, including set KPIs with thresholds and remedial processesRecruiting
Establish profile of ideal sales repLead talent management within the sales organization, including the building and maintenance of the talent pipelineOperational Excellence
Ensure sales team is executing against standards (i.e., proper uniforms, punctuality, effectively using the technology provided, etc.)What we are looking for

High school diploma or equivalent required.At least five years in in-home sales, with prior leadership experience strongly preferred.Physical Qualifications
