An Engineer with a passion for programming and knowledge in Cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, in general, and AWS-specific cloud components such as EC2, EKS, AWS Lamda functions, API Gateway, and RDS.

The engineer / Developer is expected to provide strategy and implement enterprise-scale service mesh and sidecar architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and availability.

Essential Job Functions : Work as an individual contributor within the Cloud development platform team, focused on developing and maintaining an in-house built CI / CD automation pipelineHighly advanced knowledge of Release automation using CI / CD products that is applied to advance the goals and objectives of the team and departmentRecognized by the team as an expert in CI / CD automationDeploy critical infrastructure components through Infrastructure-as-Code tooling across multiple environments using Terraform integrated through Azure DevOpsManages activities within a department, developing tactical plans for strategy and implementation for release automation for varying maturity levels of software productsSupport the development of compelling features using modern tools and technologies with a focus on building future-proof systems that perform at scaleArchitecting and developing stateless and stateful applications using AWS cloud technologiesProvide software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns, and programmingEstablishes Cloud Infrastructure Design best practices, templates, and processesCollaborates with external and internal partners, participates, and suggests design and architectural decisionsOther activities as may be assigned by your managerQualifications / Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 6+ years of industry and / or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalentExperience working on automation and developmental works related to infrastructure operationsExtensive experience in developing CI / CD Pipelines using GitOps methodologies and technologies such as FluxCD, ArgoCDExperience in working and implementing Kubernetes and Service mesh technologies such as Istio, LinkerD for communication between servicesExperience in implementing Karpenter for Scaling of API’s in the CloudProficient in various AWS cloud components for designing and building stateful and stateless applicationsTerraform expertise building IaaCAzure DevOps knowledge is a plusSpecial Requirements : The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employmentWorking Conditions : Office environment with frequent computer, mouse, keyboard useAlternating between sitting or standing as neededHearing, talking, reaching, grasping#LI-AS1 #LI-REMOTENote : This job description is not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive.

Job Location : Remote, RE, USACountry : USAThe annual full time base salary range for this role is ($100,000 - $125,000).

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data.

Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
