Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Vascular Technologist with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a vascular lab setting as a Registered Vascular Technologist
  • Day shift schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • EPIC EMR experience is required
  • No blocked scheduling permitted
  • Travelers must not reside within specified counties located within a 50-mile radius
  • Competency testing may be required with up to 2 attempts to pass
  • Medical exemption for flu vaccination accepted only if signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious declinations are not accepted
  • RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of application
  • More than 3 call outs within a 13-week contract period may result in termination, and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call out
  • Travel pairs are not allowed
  • Applicants may only submit to one position at a time

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Registered Vascular Technologist
  • Active NYS license required if applicable
  • AHA or RQI certifications must be current and submitted for consideration
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • EPIC EMR experience is mandatory; applicants without EPIC experience will not be considered
  • US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
