The Westminster Place Team is seeking a dynamic Public Safety Officer to provide quality public safety, transportation, loss prevention, and security services to residents, employees, and visitors.

Provide building and premises security through regular vehicular and foot patrols of the campus.Respond promptly and courteously to requests for assistance from residents, staff, and / or visitors.Regulate and direct vehicle and / or pedestrian traffic as needed.Monitor parking areas and issue citations when appropriate.Provide transportation services whenever requested.Write routine and special reports in the appropriate manner.Monitor all emergency systems while stationed at the gatehouse, including the closed-circuit camera system.Remain aware of Presbyterian Homes Corporate Compliance policies including those related to confidentiality, security of information, and concern for the wellbeing of residents.Skills / Qualifications :
High school graduate or equivalent.Previous experience as a Public Safety Officer, Security, or Loss Prevention Officer in a healthcare or campus setting is desirable.Good written and verbal communication skills are required.Frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing, and sitting both indoors and outdoors, and responding to alarms and other duty assignments in all weather conditions.Must be available for assignment to any shift, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.About Us : At Presbyterian Homes, we are a distinguished non-profit senior living care organization with a legacy dating back to 1904.
