Mechanical Engineering Opportunity With Warfare Systems

HII Mission Technologies is seeking out-of-the-box thinkers who execute test policies, processes and procedures to improve the quality of our existing test pipeline, as well as producing new tests with the assistance of the engineering team.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve overall product quality through the implementation of test planning and execution, documentation, and process improvement.
- Become familiar with FPGA's, functional verification tools, logical equivalence tools, and proprietary software tools.
- Develop models, transactors, stimuli, monitors, and test benches for simulating and uncovering hidden behaviors in gate-level digital netlists.
- Produce clear documentation and test cases demonstrating identified bugs or deviations from the specification.
- Effective collaboration with teammates to produce cohesive results and create improved processes is required.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens and be willing and able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
- Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess control and manage risks of product quality.
- Audits quality systems for development acceptance criteria.
- May undertake root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.
- Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
- May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, and / or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
- May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.US CitizenshipWillingness to obtain a Top-Secret security clearanceDegree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience with modern digital verification and modeling languages : SystemVerilog, SystemC, C / C++, Matlab, etc.Familiarity with various testing methodologies and techniquesFamiliarity with continuous integration tools like JenkinsGood communication skillsAttention to detail and problem solving skillsWriting scripts for batched verification tasks : Python, Bash, Tcl, Make filesRevision control systems for maintaining, sharing, and deploying code : Perforce, git, SVN, etc.Familiarity with documentation language such as Markup or html.Preferred Requirements
