Description
- Responsible for overseeing all functions of the Environmental Services department.
- Adheres to all state and federal regulations regarding Environmental Services, Daily operations of Environmental Services department, staffing allocation, training, scheduling, Adheres to patient safety protocols.
- Ensures that quality standards, schedule completion, and team performances are met on a daily basis.
- Oversight includes : budget fiduciary requirements; logistics and inventories; employee selection, training, and development;
productivity performance; discipline; inter-departmental communications.
Daily Management (LEAN) board metrics, and others as assigned; Responsible and accountable for the planning, organization, leading, evaluating, and directing of the above-mentioned departments in a manner which will promote high quality of service.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or relevant field.
- Working knowledge of the Joint Commission accreditation requirements / standards.
- Minimum of five years senior leadership role in Hospital Based Environmental Services.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
