As a Security Professional - Telecom Unarmed Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech and media location. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a secure environment for all employees and visitors. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
  • Interact with employees, visitors, and / or contractors in a professional manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal management and site leadership in carrying out additional security-related tasks as assigned.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
