Structural Plant Engineer (PE preferred)

Job description :

• This engineer can reside in PA (i.e, a northern suburb of Pittsburgh, PA or N.E. OH- We are in the Greater Youngstown region but not inner-city.

IDEAL for a CIVIL ENGINEER or Sr. CIVIL ENGINEER who desires to work in a manufacturing setting, or perhaps has greenfield experience but doesn't wish to travel more than approximately 5-15%.

Infrastructure projects include : utilities, plant, buildings, manufacturing floor, grounds expansion, facilities, and roads.

Responsible installation and equipment modifications throughout our facility. This position is responsible for the engineering and modifications to physical plant, utilities and our grounds.

Overall responsibility for complete management of civil and structural engineering in accordance with established budgets and specification requirements from development to overall completion. Meets with contractors frequently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Qualifications : EDUCATION :

Bachelor of Science in either Civil / Structural or possibly Mechanical with Civil engineering experience. EIT's and PE's are encouraged to apply.

Having green or brownfield experience is a plus.

EXPERIENCE :

4 year Engineering degree and relevant HANDS-ON experience in an industrial environment in a civil engineering capacity. A PE is preferred but not required. An EIT is a plus. Experience with water and or concrete is a plus. Structural design experience is desirable. Will work with a very supportive PE.

Due to Government contracts, US Citizenship is required.

The position is coming available due to a retirement in late 2026
