Financial Services Tax Practice Senior Associate

A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You'll also help organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You'll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

The Opportunity As part of the Financial Services Tax team you shall provide benefit through digitization, automation and increased efficiencies. As a Senior Associate you shall analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You shall focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, navigating increasingly complex situations, and growing your personal brand and technical proficiency. Responsibilities include driving impact through digitization and automation, addressing complex tax-related challenges, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, establishing and maintaining client relationships, developing a thorough understanding of business contexts, managing and navigating complex tax scenarios, enhancing personal brand and technical knowledge, and upholding exceptional professional and technical standards.

What You Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 2 years of experience, job seekers need to demonstrate the minimum requirements are met for CPA licensure per respective state regulations.

What Sets You Apart Innovating through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions, working with large, complex data sets, building models and leveraging data visualization tools, exposure to pricing and client worth, reviewing contracts and finding new pricing options, CPA or commitment to pass CPA exam before promotion to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA licensure, or Member of the Bar.

The salary range for this position is : $77,000 - $214,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
