Our client in Itasca is looking for a Direct Hire CNC Machine operator.
PAY : $28-$30 / HR
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME THRHOUGH OUT THE WEEK (SAT & SUN at times)
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret engineering detail drawings
- Set-up, program, and operate CNC machines (Mori-Seiki TL40 and Mazak V550, V515, ATC40, and SQT18) to machine products within all tolerances specified on drawing
- Upload and download CNC programs to Mazaks using Cam Links software
- Execute job set-ups to maximize surface feet per minute (SFPM)
- Verify parts produced are within tolerance and finish requirements
- Make recommendations as to efficiency / optimization to machining / processes
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on CNC machines
