Our client is looking for a Sr System Engineer to join their growing team.
This role is a hybrid role located in Plano, TX. It is primarily remote with occasional visits to the data center for meetings.
This is a full time role and not open to contract or C2C candidates.

About the Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to play a key role in supporting and modernizing enterprise IT infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments. This role blends hands-on systems administration cloud engineering identity management , and automation efforts.
You'll handle escalated support issues, maintain critical infrastructure, and contribute to ongoing improvement and modernization projects, including Windows 11 deployment backup / monitoring consolidation , and identity sync optimization
What You'll Do
- Manage Windows Server environments, patching (AutoMox), and monitoring platforms (PRTG, LanSweeper).
- Administer VMware vSphere 8 environments and TrueNAS Core storage.
- Support and optimize AWS cloud environments and on-prem connectivity.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalated support beyond L1 / L2.
- Manage Active Directory and Okta identity environments (sync, SSO, IAM policies).
- Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) and related user access workflows.
- Maintain and enhance PowerShell automation scripts.
- Monitor and maintain backup solutions (e.g., Veeam).
- Maintain clear system documentation and knowledge resources.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects including :
- Windows 11 rollout
- Image management & workstation deployments
- Server refresh initiatives
