QA Auditing Specialist
The Auditing Specialist will work as a member of the QA team, under the direction of the Senior Manager of Business Process, Projects and Quality, to develop, implement and maintain quality monitoring plans that align with departmental and organizational KPI’s and strategic objectives for their assigned operational team(s) to drive continuous quality improvement.
In this role the individual will work closely with their assigned department management group to achieve quality assurance operational objectives by completing audits;
providing data analysis; preparing reports; identifying trends and training opportunities; developing training materials and promoting change management.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with management team(s) to determine audit scope and timelines
- Plan and perform QA audits and monitors
- Review audit findings to ensure within expected ranges and develop action plans
- Coordinate QA audit and committee meetings, including agenda, minutes and task tracking
- Review and recommend operational policy and procedure updates to ensure cohesive end to end process throughout the organization
- Maintain audit documentation according to established standards
- Create training materials to facilitate CQI and meet departmental goals
- Develop standard tools and procedures to improve audit efficiency
- Create role based and departmental audit, productivity and trend reports
- Participate in special projects as requested by the Senior Manager of Business Process, Projects and Quality
- Evaluate new procedure implementation to ensure end to end process alignment
- Facilitate effective change management through process review, operational auditing and documentation maintenance
- Complete and distribute scheduled reports based on departmental KPI’s and goals
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner and listen attentively to others
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to be unbiased when conducting analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Power point
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely
- Ability to analyze data and create reports
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- General knowledge of KPI’s and continuous quality improvement
- Experience with process and procedure development and review
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of data collection and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years relevant work experience in auditing, training and development or TQM
- Pharmacy Knowledge a plus
