About the Role

We are seeking an organized, hands-on Assistant Plant Manager / Floor Manager to help lead daily production operations in a custom manufacturing environment focused on craftsmanship and precision. The ideal candidate is a professional, process-driven leader who takes pride in organization, accountability, and team development. This role supports all aspects of production — from scheduling and material coordination to workforce supervision and safety compliance — while driving efficiency and quality on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day floor operations to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Oversee workflow, labor assignments, and materials to ensure deadlines are met.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Monitor and improve production processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Train and mentor production staff to ensure consistency, teamwork, and accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve production challenges.
• Track inventory levels, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Help establish and document SOPs to create structure and improve organization.
