Network/Systems Engineer 5

OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Network Engineer to integrate security practices into DevSecOps. This position will be located in Arlington, Virginia and will bea fully remote position.

ResponsibilitiesDesigns and implements the network infrastructure that supports the organization's software Pipeline and hosting services development process, including network architecture, hardware, and software componentsWorks closely with security professionals to ensure that the network infrastructure is secure and complies with customer requirementsDesigns and implements automated network processes, including deployment and configuration management, to ensure that the network infrastructure is scalable and reliableWorks closely with developers, operations teams, and other security professionals to ensure that the Pipeline and hosting services network infrastructure supports the needs of the stakeholdersImplements network monitoring tools to identify security and privacy risks and vulnerabilities in Pipeline and hosting services network infrastructureResponds to network incidents related to the Pipeline or hosting services infrastructureQualificationsBachelor's with 12+ years networking experienceHands on work experience having created, configured, architected DevSecOps Platform and CI / CD pipelines in one or more languages, containers / Kubernetes and IaC (Automation) using Terraform and Ansible requiredExpert on AWS and on premises networkingClearance Required : Secret with ability to secure and maintain DEA Suitability#bluestoneCompany OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
