As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure setting for students, staff, and visitors. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring atmosphere. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout academic buildings, residence halls, and surrounding campus grounds to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.

Monitor access points and report any irregularities or suspicious behavior observed during patrols.

Assist with emergency response activities, including providing information and guidance to individuals in the event of an incident.

Document and report all security-related incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal policies and client guidelines.

Collaborate with campus staff and local authorities as needed to maintain a secure environment within the educational location.

Minimum Requirements :

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
