American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active IL license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Position is located in an outpatient physical therapy setting within an acute care hospital

Day shifts available, either 5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts, primarily 8 : 00-16 : 30

No weekend shifts required unless desired by the clinician

Floating within scope is required to meet facility needs, including floating within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed

Level II Trauma Center with 372 staffed beds

Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner charting experience is preferred

No on-call requirement

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Candidates must complete a parking permit form during orientation; permits are provided at no cost

Royal blue scrubs are required for this position

Must be prepared to complete required modules virtually on the first day and lessons may recur annually

Schedule requests should be discussed directly with the manager

RTO of up to 5 days is auto-approved; more requires approval and at least 2 of 3 major holidays must be worked

Locals are accepted with no radius restrictions

\n \n Requirements\n

Current Illinois Physical Therapy license required if applicable

Active BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required; RQI cards not accepted

At least 1 year of recent physical therapy experience in relevant settings is required, with exceptions considered

Must provide date of birth and Social Security Number for consideration

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required

Candidates who were permanent or PRN employees at Memorial must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler
