Responsibilities

• Perform product assurance activities to ensure dimensional, material, and visual characteristics meet technical data requirements.
• Review supplier quality data and nonconformances; provide dispositions and corrective actions.
• Assure parts and components are inspected efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Define and implement control points within manufacturing processes using quality inspection plans and specifications.
• Partner with operators, inspectors, suppliers, and Process Engineering on daily questions or issues.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and management on quality concerns affecting product compliance, corrective and preventative actions.
• Review customer purchase orders and defined quality clauses through Contract Review.
• Support completion of First Article Inspection Reports, FAIRs, and other essential quality systems.
• Apply knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP; active member of QMS and EHS internal audit team.
• Aid in training associates in department specific work procedures.
• Coordinate inspection and perform in-house release source activities as required.
• Coordinate defect escape prevention activities with QC and Production Manager for all production and inspection departments.
• Support monthly Continuous Improvement Meetings with Production and Quality Departments.
