Job Title : Packaging Development Engineer

Job Location : Hybrid position in Roswell, GA work on site Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Job Duration : 6 months; re?evaluation at that time for potential extension

Preferred : ARTIOS CAD; Degree in Packaging preferred

Candidate Should Know : ISTA and ASTM test standards; ASTM D4169 or ISTA 3 or 2 series distribution simulation tests

Must have TOPS or TOPS 2 experience

Experience : 3+ years required

Description

This is a pivotal role which touches every Healthcare product taken to market, working with customers in category / platform management. You will be responsible for supporting the packaging development for new and existing products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative, cost?effective packaging solutions that minimize cost, add value to the customer, and show strong progress on sustainability and our stakeholders.
• Continuously improve the capability of existing KCP packaging and packaging equipment to better meet customer and end?user requirements.
• Recommend and support packaging development programs that reduce distribution cost or damage, or provide competitive advantage.
• Establish and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers to keep up?to?date knowledge of developments in packaging and packaging equipment.
• Understand and communicate the impact of relevant North American legislation.
