Job Details : \n

  • Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Float pool position - can be floated to any unit within the hospital except Psychiatry and Emergency Department (unless managing holds)

    • \n

  • May float to Medical-Surgical units and take assignments that could include 6-7 patients

    • \n

  • Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed

    • \n

  • 2+ years of ICU experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH

    • \n

  • Active New York RN license required at time of submission

    • \n

  • NURSYS Report License verification with all active RN licenses required

    • \n

  • Navy blue scrubs required

    • \n

  • EMR system : Epic

    • \n

  • Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM

    • \n

  • Manage patients with diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, neuro interventions, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, CV surgery, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative cases

    • \n

  • 42-bed critical care unit capacity
