Content Director

LHH is working with their global client looking to add a talented Director of Corporate Communications to the team. In this role, you will develop and leverage internal and external communications, thought leadership and support public affairs and CSR initiatives to enhance the brand identity and reputation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of relevant experience and is a skilled communicator and writer with intrinsic ability to distill complex information into concise messaging.

This is a hybrid role (remote candidates are not being considered currently) offering a competitive base salary and bonus package as well as excellent benefits.

Responsibilities :

• creative strategies to support organization’s internal and external communications, corporate social responsibility, and public affairs initiatives.
• various persuasive communications including talking points, social media posts, articles, web content, press releases and more.
• position statements and other Q&A documents to support the company and brand on a variety of issues.
• the content repository ensuring all communications initiatives are up to date and correct to support organizations business objectives.
• as a back up media spokesperson and support company’s crisis communication efforts.

Requirements :

• Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or similar.
• years of professional relevant experience
• written and verbal communication skills-samples will be requested.
• to understand and distill complex topics into digestible and persuasive information.
• thinker with excellent attention to detail.
• time management and project management skillset.

This is a hybrid position in the Winston Salem-Greensboro-High Point area and will require relocation for external candidates.
