Job description

Leader Of Financial Planning And Analysis

The leader of financial planning and analysis is a key member of the finance leadership team responsible for leading the company's FP&A function. This individual will bring strategic financial oversight and operational excellence to support scalable growth within a private equitybacked CRO.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Partner with corporate, commercial and business unit leadership and CFO to develop integrated business and financial plans, annual budgets, monthly forecasts and business performance reviews.
  • Prepare financial materials for PE sponsors, lenders, and board presentations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models that support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive the development of standardized reporting and operational KPIs across global operations.
  • Support commercial teams in pipeline forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization.
  • Provide financial modelling and analytical support to M&A activities.
  • Oversee development of systems and processes to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to other members of the FP&A team.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership across FP&A, operations finance, or sales operations.
  • Experience in CRO, pharma services, or life sciences preferred.
  • Proven track record in PE-backed, growth-oriented organizations.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making and process improvement.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with ability to influence across functions.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution.
