JOB LOCATION : Main Campus

DEPARTMENT : DIABETES EDUCATION

SCHEDULE : Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift,

POSITION SUMMARY

Contributes to the delivery of quality patient care by providing nutrition services (including assessment, modified diet formulation, and nutrition counseling / consultation) for all age groups cared for at SGMC. Assists in growth and development of staff and other allied health professionals; assists in management of cost effectiveness of department as evidenced through efficient use of materials and human resources. Maintains an atmosphere which insures SGMC's values, goals, policies and procedures are consistently supported and enforced.

WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION

Hazard from constant exposure to patients with potentially contagious diseases. Considerable mental effort, ability to work in confined high stress environment. Able to lift and / or carry objects up to 30 pounds. Moderate amount of standing and walking.
