Sign Language Interpreter (On-site, VA Medical Center)

GD Resources LLC is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to provide on-site and emergency interpretation services at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center .

The interpreter will support Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing employees and patients within a clinical setting, facilitating clear communication during patient encounters, team meetings, and training sessions.

This position requires professional fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong familiarity with medical terminology and the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities Primary Duties (Scheduled On-site Services) :

• Provide ASL interpretation for clinical encounters, team meetings, and related training within a healthcare environment.
• Interpret spoken English into sign language and vice versa, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate communication.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information in accordance with HIPAA and VA policies.
