Seeking a
- CNC Machinist
- to operate and set up CNC mills, lathes, and Swiss-type machines. This role produces high-quality machined components while following blueprints and technical instructions. Ideal candidates have 1 year of CNC experience and are eager to grow their skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities - Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets to determine setup and machining requirements.
Prepare tooling, fixtures, and workpieces; align and secure components for machining.Set machine controls for spindle positioning, cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow.Monitor CNC machines and make adjustments to maintain quality or correct errors.Measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications.Perform routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance.Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.Skills and Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience operating CNC mills or lathes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements).Competence in CNC machine setup and operation.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.Reliable, self-motivated, and effective in a team environment.Clear verbal and written communication skills.Work Environment - Temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
Fast-paced, hands-on production setting.Use of personal protective equipment required; adherence to safety protocols.Technical Proficiency - GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
