One of our clients in Los Angeles is looking for a great Social Media Director for a full time role in the consumer goods space.
Overview :
This role will focus on Social Media from an in-house side, but will also manage external agencies that might be helping with social media areas.
You will drive innovative social media strategies and campaigns to boost brand awareness and fuel brand + consumer growth.

Salary range : $145,000 - $170,000 depending on experience. There is also significant bonus potential annually.
Social Media Director Responsibilities :
- Lead the management and growth through social media platforms globally.
- Assist in developing social media and content strategies aligned with company initiatives.
- Expand social media reach and maintain positive consumer sentiment.
- Collaborate with agency, brand, and marketing teams to support campaigns.
- Develop and manage promotions to enhance engagement and community growth.
- Supervise content development, distribution, and community management across major platforms.
- Oversee the editorial calendar in line with social media strategy.
- Stay updated on social media trends and integrate relevant ones to drive sales and customer involvement.
- Set and track performance metrics, analyzing and reporting on results for continuous improvement.
- Manage the in-house Social Media team.
- Work with external agencies.
- Collaborate with team members and agency partners to ensure comprehensive support across all channels.
Requirements :
- Must have 10+ years of experience managing social media programs for new and established brands in the consumer goods space specifically.
- Proven track record of building and leading successful teams with strong people management skills.
- Expertise in strategic planning and developing campaigns that drive organic growth and sales.
- Strong business acumen and proficiency in social data analysis.
- Ability to articulate ROI insights to senior leadership.
- Analytical skills and proficiency in using digital tools for data analysis.
- Collaborative nature with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Global experience is required.
