Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An established mail order pounding pharmacy is seeking a Lead Pharmacist to oversee second shift operations, with an opportunity for contract to hire engagement. This role is essential in managing daily pharmacy functions, ensuring regulatory pliance, and promoting high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment shipping to all 50 states.

Location : Mason, OH

Job Type : Contract to Hire

Shift : 2nd shift (2 : 00 PM 10 : 00 PM or 4 : 00 PM 12 : 00 AM), including some weekends

Responsibilities :

• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflows and timely prescription processing
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, and administrative personnel
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and patient care
• Schedule and allocate staff effectively to maintain adequate coverage
• Monitor pharmacy operations regularly, identifying areas for improvement
• Ensure full pliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including DEA and HIPAA standards
• Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay informed on pharmaceutical industry advancements and regulatory changes
