Job Title : Dental Practice Manger (Full Time)
Job Summary
We are a unique dental office that provides evening and weekend dental care to help expand accessibility in Utah. We offer all types of dental treatment from preventative care to implantology and full mouth rehabilitation.
We are skilled at dental triaging while providing a dental home to those who are wanting long term care. We stay busy and are looking to expand our staff to help keep up with patient demand.
We have very dedicated and loyal staff with almost no turnover. With that said, this is a rare opportunity to join the AHDC family amidst our growth.
We are looking for someone that can work 25-40 hours a week. If you want to be a part of a growing dental niche then this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Please be aware that this position requires evening hours along with Monday and / or Saturday day hours.
Please be aware that we are a small 2 operatory practice that focuses on Quality vs. Quantity.
This position may offer potential production bonuses additional to base wages.

Clinic Hours :
Mondays (9 : 00AM-6 : 00PM)
Tues-Friday (5 : 30PM-10 : 00 PM)
Saturday (9 : 00AM-5 : 00 PM)
General Accountabilities :
Spanish Speaking preferred
PRIMARY ROLES :
- Works front desk, answers phones, checks patients in / out etc.
- Files insurance claims (We are out-of-network but we still file claims, do pre-authorizations, and reimbursements)
- Monitors production and implements systems to increase monthly revenue.
- Train other staff, create systems, and implement protocols (when indicated by supervisor)
- Orders and monitors dental supplies and equipment inventory.
- Treatment plan specialist and financial coordinator
- Schedule patients and confirm appointments.
- Manage the schedule and run daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Assist with Staff meetings, agendas, and task lists.
- Help set up equipment and operatories when needed.
- Help interview, educate, and develop staff
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (when needed) :
- Assist dentist during procedures, completes codes and initiates SOAP notes for review (when necessary)
- Take xrays, update patient records and medical history.
- Record treatment information in patient records
- Sterilizes and disinfects instruments.
- Assist with Botox, Fillers, Whitening, and other cosmetic procedures. (Potential bonus and / or commission procedures)
- Clean bathroom and help with the daily task list to help maintain office standards.
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.
- Fabricate temporary restorations.
- Make preliminary or final impressions.

Job Qualifications
Education : Post-secondary certificate from an accredited dental
assistant program preferred but will consider training the
right candidate
Experience : 1-2 years of related experience; or combination of
education and experience (preferred)
1-2 years of Management / Leadership experience preferred.
Customer service / sales experience preferred
