As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Government Full-Time in Homestead, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment. This is an armed and driving position where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service. Sun 12 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or prohibited items.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency responders as needed in accordance with site protocols.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Follow all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements related to armed posts and government locations.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Must have (No Exceptions) :

Active driver's license

Valid Florida Security License D License and G License

And at least ONE of the following :

U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or

Police / Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or

Associate's Degree (60 College Credits, Official Transcripts)
