Role Summary : Belcan is seeking a Quality / Test Engineer to support supplier quality and deliver data-based problem solving with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to investigate supplier quality issues, ensure issues are well defined, and communicate findings to the cross-functional team.
• Assess the impact of supplier issues and collaborate with Supplier, Production Planning, and Logistics teams to mitigate production line downtime risk.
• Manage the disposition of defective supplier parts and coordinate return and rework with suppliers and 3rd party service companies.
• Support root cause analysis and provide fact- and data-based information to concerned parties for problem solving.
• Manage deviations and process change requests from suppliers; review and follow up supplier PPAPs; support NPI projects.
• Manage supplier performance data and financial chargebacks for incurred costs from supplier quality issues.
