Clinical Director

  • Crown Hospice Salary Range :

|$108,000 – $112,000 DOE Because leadership in hospice care is more than managing a team — it’s leading with heart.

  • Are you a no-nonsense, get-it-done leader who brings both structure and soul to your work?
  • Crown Hospice is seeking a Clinical Director who’s equal parts strategist, motivator, and mentor — someone who leads with compassion, communicates with honesty, and executes with precision.
  • This role calls for a straight shooter and a task master — someone who can balance empathy with efficiency, drive accountability, and elevate team performance while upholding the highest standards of hospice care.
  • What You’ll Do Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, dignified end-of-life care.
  • Oversee all clinical operations — ensuring compliance with CHAP standards , as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Drive results through organization, efficiency, and clear communication — every detail matters.
  • Mentor and develop a clinical team to perform with excellence and heart.
  • Monitor performance metrics, census trends, and staffing needs to keep operations running seamlessly.
  • Partner with the Executive Director to ensure quality outcomes, strong team culture, and regulatory compliance.
  • Represent Crown Hospice with integrity, professionalism, and leadership presence.
  • What We’re Looking For A Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Missouri with proven hospice or healthcare leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated management or leadership experience in hospice or palliative care — non-negotiable .
  • A straight shooter who communicates with honesty, empathy, and accountability.
  • A true leader who inspires trust, ownership, and collaboration across teams.
  • A highly organized task master who can balance structure with compassion and keep initiatives on track.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of hospice operations, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Excellent communicator — able to deliver feedback respectfully and resolve conflicts with professionalism and empathy.
