The Opportunity
As part of the Cybersecurity team you uphold the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our data assets by collaborating with data stewards, analysts, and IT teams. As a Senior Associate, you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain elevated standards, focusing on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. This role involves developing and delivering data quality training, managing data quality issues, and implementing data governance policies to enhance data quality operations.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with data stewards, analysts, and IT teams to maintain data integrity
Analyzing complex data issues and providing solutions
Mentoring team members to uphold exemplary standards
Building and maintaining enduring client relationships
Developing and delivering data quality training programs
Managing and resolving data quality issues effectively
Implementing data governance policies to enhance data operations
Enhancing understanding of business context through data analysis
What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information CyberSecurity, Computer and Information Science, Forensic Science, or Cybersecurity
3 years of experience with at least 3-5 years of experience in data quality management, data governance, or a related role
Experience in a specific industry such as finance, healthcare, or retail
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
Demonstrated experience with SQL
Experience with implementation of Batch, and API pipelines
Demonstrated experience with DQ tools like collibra, monte carlo, soda, informatica, anomalo
Experience implementing data quality framework and socialization
Knowledge of data observability frameworks
Demonstrated experience with platform observability tools like datadog, Grafana, Splunk
Experience driving incident management initiatives with thorough understanding of the stages of incidents
Experience with reporting and analytics (tableau, etc.)
What Sets You Apart
Master of Science preferred
Certification in data management or data quality (e.g., CDMP, IQCP)
Developing and maintaining data quality processes
Monitoring data quality metrics
Collaborating with data owners and stewards
Leading root cause analysis for data issues
Designing and delivering data quality training
Utilizing data quality tools effectively
Familiarity with data governance frameworks

The salary range for this position is : $77,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
