SAP Business Objects Developer

Job Description

Design, develop, and implement data integration using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into target systems such as data warehouses, data marts, or operational data stores.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Optimize and tune BODS jobs for performance and scalability.

Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes and ETL jobs.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data integration technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) developer or engineer, with a strong understanding of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.

Proficiency in SQL and database concepts, with hands-on experience working with relational databases

Experience with Snowflake and Salesforce

Experience data modeling, schema design, and data profiling.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with other SAP products or technologies (, SAP HANA, SAP BW) is a plus.

SAP certifications related to data integration or BODS are desirable but not required.
