Position Title : E-Coat Supervisor
GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION : Efficiently and effectively coordinate and operate electrocoat and water treatment operations for plant
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Ensure maintenance, installation, and operation of equipment is done in a safe manner
Ensure equipment safety devices are kept adequate and operational
Responsible for promoting safety through safety meetings, and awareness reports
Coordinate paint and wastewater treatment process
Responsible for coordinating, maintaining and controlling all coating and wastewater activities
Cost estimating, service contracts, cost control
Maintain and improve coating and waste treatment and coordinate all equipment, selection, construction and installation
Develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
Track and control electrocoat and waste treatment inventory
Achieve electrocoat and waste treatment inventory
Achieve electrocoat, waste treatment and facility goals
Supervise and assist maintenance personnel
Responsible for E-Coat technicians performance evaluations and interviews
Coordinate all maintenance activities
Oversee the procurement of equipment, repair parts and supplies
Develop and conduct training activities
Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance procedures
Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change
ACADEMICS AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA
Associate Degree in related field or equivalent (Science, industrial, ecoat / painting)
Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience utilizing Electrocoat System or similar preferred
Minimum of 2 year supervisory / leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing required
Minimum of 2 years in project management preferred
Experience with all Local, State and Federal procedures and reporting procedures
2 years with programmable controllers with emphasis on preventive and predictive maintenance (CMMS or similar) required
Wastewater experience preferred
