Job Description

Teledyne Controls specializes in providing cutting-edge onboard avionics systems and ground-based applications to facilitate efficient data access, management, and utilization for both civil and military aircraft operators.

Summary

To perform all phases of rework, electronic component replacements on thru-hole and Surface Mount assemblies, and mechanical assembly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Component fine pitch soldering and de-soldering
• Wire crimping and harnessing.
• Mechanical assembly using hand tools while performing hardware installations.
• Performs various complex electronic assembly operations such as Harnessing and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) builds.
• Determines or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing various complex electronic assembly operations.
• Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
• Records information on production records, logs and other report forms.
• Reworks and repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
• Must be able to operate microscope for extended periods of time, follow drawings, torque tools, measuring devices

Education and / or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); At least a minimum of three (3) years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a US Person (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday within one hour plus / minus of 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. This position may at times require long hours and weekend or holiday work reflecting workload and deadlines.

Salary Range :

$42,800.00-$57,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education / training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
